Facilities Manager

The Facilities Manager will play a critical role in overseeing the operation and maintenance of Hanley Energy’s physical assets, including buildings, equipment, and utilities. The primary function of the Facilities Manager will be to ensure that all facilities are safe, efficient, and well-maintained to meet the needs of the organization and its employees. In addition, the Facilities Manager will be responsible for managing budgets, supervising staff, coordinating with outside contractors, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and safety standards. Overall, the Facilities Manager will be a key member of the Hanley Energy team, working to manage the company’s physical resources effectively to support its operations and strategic goals.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the delivery of contracts for FM services (Hard and Soft) security, fire projection, cleaning, emergency lighting, heating, AC systems, general building, grounds maintenance and technology.
  • Weekly site visits 100% expected to ensure each of the buildings across the portfolio is compliant and functioning as required in relation to FM services and building fabric condition.
  • Day to Day operations with mandatory weekly engagement with site leads.
  • FM services support staff and contractor meetings required at least monthly with MBR/ QBR required in written format minutes.
  • Assist in preparing documents to put out tenders for contractors.
  • Manage waste streams and report monthly on this.
  • Manage energy usage and report monthly on this.
  • Ensure all maintenance records are completed and managed correctly via CMMS.
  • Manage budgets and ensuring cost effectiveness FM services across the Ireland portfolio.
  • Provide detailed weekly FM services report and also a monthly SI and financial report with documented review to Head of Dept.
  • Ensure that facilities statutory inspections meet government regulations, H&S and ISO standards.
  • Advise business of energy and waste use and offer initiatives and efficiencies.

Position Requirements:

  • Qualification in Facility management.
  • Track record of managing several manufacturing facilities.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills.
  • Excellent client facing skills, with an appreciation of Hanley Energy Customer Obsession.
  • Attention to detail ensuring the consistent deliver of high-quality services.
  • Ability to work effectively with Internal Management teams, and on own initiative.
  • Detailed technical knowledge and ability to resolve technical matters.
  • Numerate with well-developed written and communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft packages.
  • Knowledge of SAP Business one ERP package.
  • Strong commercial focus.
