We are currently seeking an experienced Controls Commissioning Engineer to join our expanding international team, with a base location in Sweden. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of complex, high-impact projects across the Nordic region.
As a Commissioning Engineer, you will be responsible for testing, commissioning, and final handover of control and energy monitoring systems on client sites. The role involves working closely with project teams, troubleshooting issues on site, ensuring full functionality of systems, and compiling all necessary documentation to complete the commissioning phase successfully.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and execute testing and commissioning activities according to project specifications.
- Collaborate with Project and Operations Managers to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Identify and resolve issues in system performance or installation quality.
- Produce and review technical commissioning documentation.
- Monitor test results, compile commissioning reports, and ensure handover is completed in line with client expectations.
- Train and support global service partners in alignment with company standards.
- Provide technical support and advice to internal teams and service engineers.
- Participate in on-call support rota, including occasional evening/weekend work.
- Travel to customer sites is required — international travel within the region may also be necessary.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Qualified Electrician (or equivalent technical certification).
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in installation, commissioning, repair, or servicing of Electrical Monitoring or Control Systems (e.g., EMS/BMS).
- Experience with electrical instrumentation and reading electrical schematics.
- Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems and associated communication protocols.
- Proven troubleshooting and fault-finding skills.
- Clean passport and flexibility for international travel.
