We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Controls Commissioning Manager to oversee the installation and commissioning of the control systems supplied by Hanley Energy in the EMEA/APAC region. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the seamless deployment of all control’s products in the Hanley Energy portfolio, including but not limited to EPMS, Changeover Panels, Controls Panels, DLB. Your role will involve collaborating with clients, project teams and Hanley Energy commissioning teams to ensure the highest standards of performance, reliability, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead our existing FRA Commissioning Team, to ensure a consistent approach to Hanley Energy commissioning activities.
- Collaborate with clients, project managers, commissioning teams, and all other stakeholders to develop and execute effective commissioning plans tailored to each energy system.
- Conduct rigorous inspections, tests and quality checks to ensure the optimal performance and functionality of all supplied energy systems.
- Work closely with other Hanley Energy technical teams, to get resolution/fix on technically challenging issues.
- Provide support to Hanley Energy Quality Team to conduct RCA’s.
- Foreign travel as required, to assist with management of projects and maintain excellent oversight of all commissioning activities.
- Provide guidance to field service engineers, technicians, and client personnel on the operation and maintenance of supplied energy systems.
- Work closely with Product Management Team to assist in the development of technical documentation.
- Ensure consistent and accurate records of commissioning activities, test results and equipment specifications are maintained to facilitate efficient tracking and reporting.
- Stay current with industry advancements, emerging technologies, and best practices related to a wide spectrum of energy systems, contributing to the continuous improvement of commissioning methodologies.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in the installation and commissioning of a variety of energy systems.
- Electrical/Electronic qualification or related engineering field required.
- Expertise in conducting comprehensive tests, inspections, and troubleshooting of variety of energy systems.
- Strong technical knowledge across multiple energy technologies and systems, encompassing electrical, electronic, and control components.
- Demonstrated ability to solve complex technical problems efficiently, especially in time-sensitive situations.
- Knowledge of PLC’s, control systems and communications protocols.
- Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with clients, project teams, internal departments, and technicians.
- Proven leadership skills and experience in guiding and mentoring engineers and technicians.
- Adherence to strict safety protocols and industry standards during commissioning activities.
- Excellent IT Skills. Use of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint all essential.
- Flexibility to travel to various client sites at short notice.
- Full clean driving license.
- Experience in the Data Centre Industry preferred.
