Meet Melissa Caskey, Procurement Manager (North America)
I run a team that searches for and purchases materials. We also focus on value and lead times, and relationships with suppliers.
I am the Procurement Manager for North America at Hanley Energy and Hanley Energy Electrical. I joined Hanley Energy in 2022. I had not worked directly in Procurement prior to this position, though I worked in purchasing previously. I’ve discovered that I really enjoy Procurement especially when it comes to the data center and the electrical world.

There’s so much that I can learn from all the different people that I work with. That really stuck with me, that even now I can go up to anyone in the company and ask for five minutes of their time, or just get a coffee with them, and everybody is open to chatting.
We’re pretty diverse people. I think part of customer relations is being able to get on the same page, and the different cultural backgrounds really helps with that.
We do have a “Procurement Pals” team meeting every day and it helps remind us that even though we are working independently, we are all moving towards one goal together.
