Electrician – Data Centre Sites

Key Responsibilities:

  • System Installations: Support, undertake, and oversee system installations, commissioning, and maintenance.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with onsite, in-house, and business partner teams to ensure seamless operations.
  • Fault-Finding Expertise: Apply your in-depth knowledge of electrical and control systems to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Ensure customer expectations are met with high-quality service and solutions.
  • Safety Compliance: Adhere to health, safety, and environmental policies at all times.
  • Process Improvement: Enhance onsite service delivery processes, policies, and prepare detailed methodology statements.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Certified electrician with relevant trade qualifications.
  • Knowledge of switchgear manufacturing (preferred but not essential).
  • Familiarity with PLC functionality, control systems, and panel wiring.
  • Knowledge of BMS or HVAC control systems (desirable).
  • Experience with electrical instrumentation (advantageous).
  • Excellent troubleshooting and fault-finding capabilities.
  • Ability to read and understand electrical schematics.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel nationally as required.
