We are excited to offer you the IT Support position. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth operation of IT services for our organization. Your primary responsibility will be to provide day-to-day IT support to our users, addressing a variety of technical issues related to laptops, phones, network access, and applications. This role will involve both onsite and remote support using the tools and platforms at our disposal.
Responsibilities:
- Provide first-level IT support to end users, resolving technical issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity.
- Support users with access and troubleshooting issues in various applications, including but not limited to Microsoft 365 tools (EntraID, SharePoint, Intune, etc.).
- Deliver support services onsite at various locations and remotely using approved tools and platforms.
- Travel between our sites in Ireland as required to address IT needs and maintain system functionality.
- Document, track, and manage support requests in our ticketing system, ensuring timely resolution and communication with users.
- Collaborate with other IT team members to escalate and resolve complex technical issues.
- Contribute to maintaining and updating IT documentation and knowledge base articles.
Global Scope:
- Provide IT support for our sites in Ireland, the United States, Australia, Sweden, and our upcoming site in Germany.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving IT issues for remote and international users as part of the global IT team.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in an IT support role, preferably in a Level 1 or 2 capacity.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with hardware (laptops, phones, peripherals) and software (operating systems, common business applications).
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 environment, including EntraID, SharePoint, Intune, and related tools.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Availability to work onsite five days a week, with occasional approval for remote work.
- Willingness to travel between sites in Ireland as required.
- Flexibility to adapt to the needs of a global organization, including occasional support for international users across time zones.
Work Environment:
This is an in-office position based in Ireland. While the role primarily requires onsite work, occasional remote work may be approved at the discretion of management but is not guaranteed.
The position also involves travel to support our Irish sites and occasional coordination with our global locations.
