Clive Gilmore
CEO
As CEO and Co-Founder of Hanley Energy, Clive leads the design and implementation of advanced critical power and energy management solutions for industrial, commercial and data center sectors. An international leader and entrepreneur, he is recognized for driving engineering innovation and excellence.
With over 40 years of experience, Clive has played a pivotal role in establishing and advancing numerous businesses. His vision, expertise, and determination continue to shape Hanley Energy’s success, delivering cutting-edge solutions that enhance efficiency, resilience, and sustainability for clients worldwide.

Dennis Nordon
Managing Director
Dennis co-founded Hanley Energy in 2009 and serves as Managing Director, bringing over four decades of expertise in critical power and energy monitoring solutions. With a deep understanding of LV Switchgear and Industrial Automation across both domestic and international markets, Dennis plays a key role in shaping the company’s sales and business development strategies.
Dennis is a time served electrician, who studied in Dundalk Institute of Technology. Since then, he has built a reputation for delivering innovative energy solutions tailored to a wide range of industries. Under his leadership, Hanley Energy continues to drive efficiency, resilience, and sustainability in energy management.

John Hennessy
Director
John Hennessy FCCA is a Chartered Certified Accountant and Statutory Auditor with over 30 years of experience in both public practice and industry. He is a Director of Nordmore Holdings, the parent company of Hanley Energy, and a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).
In 2010, John established John Hennessy & Co, an ACCA Quality Checked accountancy practice based in Ardee, Co. Louth. As Principal of the firm, he leads a team that provides comprehensive financial and advisory services to a broad and diverse client base across multiple sectors.
John’s extensive experience and professional insight continue to support businesses in achieving financial clarity, regulatory compliance, and sustainable growth.

Robert Barr
Chairman
With over 25 years of board-level experience, Robert brings a distinguished track record of driving international growth and performance across diverse industries. He currently serves as Non-Executive Chairman of Nordmore Holdings, the parent company of Hanley Energy. His previous roles include Vice Chairman and co-owner of Arran Isle, Non-Executive Chairman of Senior Architectural Systems Ltd., Non-Executive Chairman of Creavo Medical Technologies, and Senior Independent Director at WYG plc.
Robert has enjoyed creating value and delivering results in the Healthcare, Consumer Goods, and Industrial sectors. He has successfully grown businesses both organically and through strategic acquisitions across North America, Asia, and Europe.
Specialties: International business management in diverse cultures; leading change and scaling businesses; business restructuring and cost reduction; team building.

Edward Pepper
Operations Director
Edward joined Hanley Energy in 2015 as Operations Director and has played a key role in the company’s growth into a €200M+ business with over 850 employees and SLA across 15 countries. Edward's responsibilities include ensuring growth year on year, reducing costs, increasing productivity, on time delivery and fostering a culture of continuous improvement, to name a few.
His background as an electrical contractor, retail director, and restaurant owner has provided him with a well-rounded perspective on what drives business success: people, planning, and profitability. Edward describes himself as “business smart” and “ruthless,” but above all, he is ambitious and hardworking. He applies the principles of continuous improvement and excellence throughout the global Hanley Energy network, as well as in his personal life, where he is an avid cyclist and kayaker.

Charlene Cassidy
Group Chief Financial Officer
As Group Chief Financial Officer at Hanley Energy, Charlene Cassidy leads the company’s financial strategy, ensuring sustainable growth, financial stability, and operational excellence. She oversees financial planning, risk management, and corporate governance, playing a key role in driving efficiency and long-term success across the Hanley Energy Group.
Charlene is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA) and holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Accounting and Finance from Dundalk Institute of Technology (DKIT). She trained as a Financial Accountant with UHY FDW before transitioning to the aviation sector prior to joining Hanley Energy, where she gained valuable experience in financial management and corporate finance.
Her expertise and dedication support Hanley Energy’s continued expansion, reinforcing its position as a global leader in energy management solutions.

John O'Driscoll
Group Chief Commercial Officer
John leads Hanley Energy's Commercial teams, driving growth with over 25 years of sales experience and 20 years in senior leadership roles across the Data Centre, Cybersecurity, technology, and telecoms sectors. Prior to joining Hanley Energy in 2021, John held senior Sales Director positions at Equinix, Integrity360, and BT Ireland. He has also served as Director of the Sales Institute of Ireland and as an Executive Council Member of the Digital Inside Sales Directors Network. Outside of work, John is an active community member, serving as a charity fundraiser, mentor, and youth rugby coach. He holds a Master’s in Strategic Sales Management, Business Practice, Business Administration, General Management and Leadership from the Smurfit Graduate Business School, University College Dublin, and a Diploma in Coaching and Mentoring from the Chartered Management Institute.
John has extensive experience in defining and leading new business acquisition strategies, identifying and establishing growth in established and emerging markets. Responsible for the orchestration of complex outsourcing service offerings, John is self-motivated and extremely driven with a core focus on empowerment, development, coaching, motivating and challenging sales teams to strategic objectives.

Niall Franklin
Country Manager USA
Niall leads the United States organisation of Hanley Energy. He is tasked to deliver sustainable business growth and long-term performance across several key markets. His role is focused on strategic planning, general management, organizational development and driving financial performance.
Core to Niall's role is harnessing the cross-functional capability in Hanley Energy, to deliver greater value to the business and our customers across the United States, by combining the technical, operational, and service capabilities within the organization.
Having been a member of the Operating Board since formation, Niall previously held the position of CSO (Chief Strategy Officer) with a remit to develop and execute on multi-year strategic growth pillars for the organization.
Niall holds a Business degree in International Management, having studied overseas in Ireland and France.
His specialities are in leadership, strategy alignment and execution, commercialisation of service and technology offerings, marketing, and customer value propositions.

Stuart Lawson
Global Head of Manufacturing
Stuart is Global Head of Manufacturing at Hanley Energy and the CEO of Flexitech, where he leads the team in manufacturing enclosures and steelwork for the broader Hanley Energy Group. Stuart spearheads the Lean manufacturing process across the organization, driving efficiency improvements through strategic change initiatives and as the leader of the Quality team, he is committed to maintaining the highest standards of customer satisfaction across all areas of the business.
Stuart joined Hanley Energy in 2021, bringing extensive global experience in management, engineering, and operations. His career spans senior roles at British Coal, Heinz, and Kraft Heinz, and has taken him from deep mines in the UK to senior management positions in Europe and Russia. Stuart holds a BEng Hons in Mining & Petroleum Engineering from the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow.
Outside of work, Stuart enjoys golf, rugby, cycling and exploring new destinations.

Peter Huddleston
Chief Financial Officer, North America
As Chief Financial Officer for North America, Peter brings strategic leadership, financial expertise, and a results-driven mindset to the forefront of the region’s operations. With over 30 years of experience and a demonstrated history of working in the manufacturing and construction sectors, Peter oversees financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and risk management across North American markets.
Prior to this role, Peter held senior finance positions at Colonial Electric Company, Brown & Settle Inc and GreenTech Automotive where he played a key role in driving growth, improving operational efficiency, and leading transformative financial strategies. Known for his collaborative approach and strong business acumen, Peter partners closely with executive leadership to align financial performance with the company’s broader goals.
Peter holds a Finance & Accounting degree from Leeds Beckett University and is a certified ACMA, CGMA accredited accounting professional with a passion for building high-performing teams and fostering a culture of financial discipline and innovation.
