As a Project Control specialised your role will be pivotal in supporting the delivery of complex technical projects within the energy management and data centre electrical domains. You will apply your electrical engineering experience to ensure efficient project execution, with a strong focus on critical power systems, electrical infrastructure, and data centre operations. Collaborating with program and project managers, you will provide technical oversight, support planning, and monitor the successful delivery of electrical projects aligned with Hanley Energy’s strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the PMO Framework for executing critical power projects
- Lead Change management to internal processes, procedure, work instruction etc
- Provide support to the Project Management Teams ensuring all PMO related Templates, Processes, and Work Instruction are up to date.
- Complete Project and Program Governance reviews ensuring they are being delivered in line with the PMO Framework.
- Lead in the delivery of PMO Operations continuous improvement projects.
- Provide regular reports and forecasts for Senior Management and other Key Stakeholders in the business.
- Own, manage, and maintain key PMO Dashboards and KPI Metrics
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Project Management, or related technical field is desirable but not essential
- 3+ years of experience in a PMO role or Senior Project Support role with a focus on electrical engineering, critical power systems, or data centre electrical or equivalent
- SAP Experience is desirable
- Working knowledge of BI
- Solid understanding of both project management and technical aspects of electrical systems, power distribution, and energy management
