The White House St. Patrick’s Day Celebrations 2023
US President Joe Biden hosted Irish Taoiseach Leo Varadkar at the White House on Friday, resuming the St. Patrick’s Day tradition for the first time since the Covid-19 pandemic. Our CEO and co-founder, Clive Gilmore, had the pleasure of attending the celebration and was “proud to represent Hanley Energy and Irish investment in the USA.”

St. Patrick’s Day marks the 10-year anniversary of our flagship USA office in Ashburn, Virginia. The festivities, complete with a green-dyed fountain, come ahead of a presidential trip to Ireland. “Ireland and the United States share friendship and long, long traditions,” Biden said.
