Hanley Energy are very pleased to announce that Mary Ramsay has joined our global team as Country Manager Australia.
Mary will be based in the newly opened Sydney office and will be responsible for all business operations, with new and existing clients in the Asia-Pacific market.
Mary adds a wealth of experience to the international team, accumulating over 25 years in key leadership, program management and business development roles across a myriad of industries, namely financial and technology.
With a strong background in the financial services sector for very large multi-nationals and blue-chips, Mary brings a clear vision of how digital trends and go-to-market solutions play a key role in modern business growth, and an understanding of how technology shifts and changes take hold in fast-moving business environments.
A highly motivated and hands-on leader with an open, common-sense approach and strong track record in identifying key technology drivers. Mary is an expert on the evolution of the workplace and the opportunities that are created where technology, innovation and people come together.
Throughout her career, Mary has worked for some of the world’s leading fintech giants including PwC, American Express, ASX, AMP Financial Services and BT Financial Group. Separately, she has worked with government bodies such as Tourism Australia and Sydney University to create new digital programs and transformation strategies.
She has lived and worked in London upon graduating from University of Sydney in economics, accounting and commercial law. Mary is also a graduate of the University of NSW where she obtained a Master of Commerce degree with a specialisation in Marketing Strategy.
Mary is a mother of two boys and is strongly committed to family, friends and the community. She volunteers her time to key bodies such as the North Bondi Surf Life Saving Club and Waverley College and is passionate about social justice. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, going to the beach and practicing yoga and pilates.
